About Us

Hi, we're Leo and Jessica.

We've lived right here in Cusseta since 2015, when we bought our little slice of land and named it Ochillee Farm in honor of the Ochillee Creek that crisscrosses our property. What started as a weekend hobby quickly became our whole way of life. We grow most of our own food, tend a big garden, raise a few animals, and spend as much time as we can outdoors—hunting, fishing, and teaching our kids and grandkids how to do the same. For us, homesteading isn't just a hobby; it's how we stay connected to the land, to each other, and to the simple joy of providing for our family with our own hands.

After years of learning through trial and error on our own farm, we realized something simple: a lot of our neighbors want to do the same thing, but they don't always know where to start or who to ask. That's why we decided to open Chatta Homestead Supply. We will be located at 304 GA Hwy 520 where the 24/7 Corn vending machine is.

We're not here to sell you fancy gadgets or push the latest trends. We're here because we love this lifestyle and we want to make it easier for you to enjoy it too.

Whether you're a brand-new gardener who just moved to the area, a seasoned hunter looking for good food-plot seed, or someone who just wants to can tomatoes from your backyard, we'll be here with honest advice, locally sourced products, and a friendly face.
